In response to CJ, for me its not about being a dominator, I
actually want to BE them. When I think about like transformation it
doesn't have the same appeal because I know I'm just a COPY of the
person. But to actually BE them, be inside their body is really
exhilarating to me especially if I can freely access their memories
and personality and get a in-depth view into who they are.

@CJ I agree with Polover, I think I just like the idea of becoming
someone else. The amount of cruelty I want to imagine in the story
is very light (which also makes it unrealistic)

It's so funny with these last few comments because my main
fantasies actually revolve around the exact opposite. In my
fantasies, I always can transform into a copy of someone else or
can turn another person into a copy of someone else and back to
myself and themselves at will. There are three I've been thinking
about quite a bit lately. In one of them, I transform a female
friend of mine into one of her MUCH more attractive friends so she
can go out and live it up for a night or two as a much more
attractive person. In exchange for this "favor" though, she has to
have sex with me in her new body. My second one is actually the
exact opposite. I would transform another very attractive girl I
know into someone who is less attractive and sleep with her. This
would be a form of role playing, so nothing would be done against
anyone's will. I'd love to hear her comment about how her new body
compares with her real one before I have sex with her. In the last
one, I actually transform the woman from the first fantasy into a
man in order to watch her have sex with another woman.

Multiple transformations, I don't so much mind what they are as
long as the protagonist is hit with as many as possible, not all at
once mind. I guess it would all come under the horror genre, I see
all transformations as negative things to be feared, more then
death. Like Evil Dead army of darkness, the scary bit was when the
hero is transformed. I guess technically all the monsters in evil
dead are transformed people.
I thin the magical horrors are brilliant, I'd love a film where the
hero is tormented (like bedazzled) but not returned to their
original self each time, I'd rather each torment was stacked, like
shrunk, then tged, then werewolfed...

Thanks for elaborating a little on my curiosities.
I can't say that I haven't often wondered what the heck is going
through someone else's mind... Why they think the way they do...
why they make the choices they do. Privacy concerns
notwithstanding, it might be a fun undertaking to really get into
their brain, and experience their thoughts and feelings.

It might also stem from the feeling that the grass is always
greener on the other side, or starting over with a "clean slate" if
you will.

@M2FB I agree the "clean slate" and grass is always greener are
very appealing to me.
When I imagine myself being a celeb it doesn't seem like a lot of
fun unless I have their talents and skills as well. OTOH, I also
like the fantasy of being transformed into my idea of a perfect
girl.

I suppose my favourite scenario is a bit different - I imagine I'm
waiting for a bus when a black box (like Morpheus' role reverser),
shoots out of the sky and swaps my personality with a young woman
who's also waiting for the bus.
So I act like her and she acts like me. I think it comes out of my
desire to want to be more feminine. I'm also more into mutual
merges & fusion type scenarios nowadays. When I first started out I
was more into headswaps, and my preferences have changed over time.
I wonder if this shifting of TF fantasies is common as you get
older?

In response to the last post, I have always been interested in TG,
but my preference of 'bonus TFs' that occur as well changes quite
often.For example, one month I might like race changes a lot, then
I'll lose interest and search for AP or something for up to half a
year. They keep on changing. At the moment I like weight gain.
