Aren't tights and hose the same thing? Or are tights thicker than
hose? I'd love to see a see where she is walking around in a shirt
and hose and heels or bra, hose, and heels.

My best guess is that it WON'T be a fetishist's dream or even
erotic. So there probably won't be many (if any) shots focusing on
the TF'd Sam parading around in just bra and panties. Shirt and
hose, perhaps - but probably only for a few seconds, as an
establishing shot.
More likely in a mainstream type movie would be the TF'd Sam
struggling with bra and/or hosiery. Hopefully a little struggle
with cosmetics and hair and heels too. But I don't think they'll
give it the weight / play time that we'd all hope for.

I agree with CJ, but I must admit I was AMAZED at the leg tease
scene at the end of the trailer. It was both playful and sexy and
completely unexpected. That said, I'm more interested in watching
the friendship blossom into love. The clohes and makeup are just
icing on the cake.

Surprised that by this point we still have little info about a
release of the movie. Not even a mention on if it will be at any
Film festival's like sundance. Its not like at least to me the film
still needs any work. So I wonder what is the delay it from being
released?

I'm 90% confident we will get a trailer and an announcement when
all the films for the SOHO Film Fest have been announced. Their
facebook page says they are still screening applicants. The
producers of the film run the festival and they tweeted "2015 -
here we come!" If it's not SoHo in April then it's some other
festival. It sucks but all we can do now is wait.

Sam is a love story that is more than a love story. It is about
love and friendship and what happens when the two collide in the
weirdest possible way. It follows the journey of Sam Wellman, a
mans man and professional woman hater and his relationship with
Doc, his best (and only!) friend. The morning after one very
strange night, Sam awakens to find himself transformed into a
woman. The wheel of Karma turns, and Sam now Samantha finds
herself the object of her lascivious bosss unwanted affections,
all the while deepening her friendship with Doc to the point where
sparks come dangerously close to flying. Can Samantha and Doc
remain friends? Or will the growing chemistry between them end up
destroying one of the great bromances of all time?

I like how the long description mentions this detail.
Sam now Samantha finds herself wandering in a bizarre new world
in which she becomes the object of her lascivious boss unwanted
affections and is forced to take girl lessons under the strict
tutelage of the persnickety fashion coach, Alexander Blondell.
Man, I really want to see this movie.

Thank you Saint, once again, for this great new update.
I am puzzled though... Where did you find the quote about "Sam
now Samantha finds herself wandering in a bizarre new world"
(etc.) ? I don't see it anywhere on the two links you provided in
posts 108 and 109.
The "girl lessons" statement is particularly promising. I can't
recall any TG movie having a scene like that. At least, no American
movie. Yet its one of the scenes I've wanted most to see.
As I've mentioned before, I think we're on exactly the same page
with regards to everything known about Sam. It seems to be the
movie I've always wanted.

It's on the official facebook page. Click "About" (which is between
Timeline and Photos) and then scroll down to Long Description.
BTW, aronimink. Are you registered on TG Comics?

Thanks Saint, I'll try it. No, I'm not registered on TG comics. I
believe that's the only way you can view the website. I don't buy
any of the premium comics though.

Thanks Saint, I just read the full description. The last few
sentences make me a bit worried though, that Sam does the same
cop-out Goodbye Charlie and Switch did at the end, and destroy the
budding romance at the last minute.
Specifically, the lines: "Meanwhile, her friendship with Doc
deepens to the point where sparks come dangerously close to flying.
Can Samantha and Doc remain friends? Or will the growing chemistry
between them end up destroying one of the great bromances of all
time?"
Well, all we can do is wait and see ...

In "Goodbye Charlie" the play, Charlene remains a woman with only
her remembering she had once been a man, and it looking like her a
George would remain a couple.

Anyone plan on attending the Nashville film fest? I have thought
about it, but highly doubt it. It is about a 10-hour drive from
where I live. Very doubtful I will go, but if some others
interested in creative ventures plan to go, then I just might.

If I had the means I would go. I have been following this movie for
years and would really like to support it in any way I can because
it's (more or less) the movie I always wanted to see made. Natalie
Knepp is amazing and Bryan Batt's speech and montage is the best
part. I can't wait to own a copy but I wish I had the opportunity
to thank Nick Brooks for making this movie.
