That's nothing. For some strange reason, the Julianne Moore film
directed by Todd Haynes (Safe), even though it was released in
1995, it didn't come out in Australia until 2004. There was some
weird legal reason or something.

On the FB page, a response by Nicholas Brooks himself on a comment
about the release:
Nicholas Brooks: Progress indeed, Jimmy. We are actively working
towards the release of Sam. Look for it to be out early summer

Special effects have gotten more complicated since Star Wars was
made.

I think this movie is just going to sit on the shelf until the end
of the time. I just don't get it. I see crappy D straight to DVD
movies all the time at Redbox and on Netflix. When I see them, I
just say "why" and "how" because I can't just look at the box art
or synopsis and see that they're terrible movies.

I appreciated the effects joke, guest! But it looks strangely like
you're making fun of yourself when neither of you uses a nickname.

It looks pretty average to me. I have a feeling it's going to be
riddled with clichs, and groan inducing humor.

Well, if it does eventually get a release, no-one is forcing you to
watch it.
Or are they?

That reminds me of a variation of some of the early draft posters
I'm sure I saw when this project around the time when this project
was first mentioned here.
Well, to pass the time while we're all waiting, there is this
completed and available film with Natalie Knepp in it.

Well, the real news there is that they have finally found
distribution!! This means the film will likely see a release very
soon. Looking at the distributor, it looks like they do a lot of
streaming/on demand. Super exciting news!

So, anyone want to stump up some complete guesses as to how this
film is likely to end?
Marries best friend, has kids and lives happily ever after?

IIRC someone who has already seen the movie during a festival
viewing may have already posted spoiler information. It's been
awhile, and I don't have the time to go back and dig through the
first 318 posts. But while you're waiting, you might do so and find
what you're looking for. :-)
I'm guessing that it's probably after page 10 though.
