Trying to watch the first episode but maybe too dumb to follow it.
So you're telling me there is a man inside sexy Mira Sorvino's
character? She's hot.

It still wasn't revealed in the third episode who was possessing
her, but it looks like next week's episode might tell you that it
could be a woman who's lost her baby. So, no I don't think it's a
man inside her body at this point. But you never really know. :)

correct, they have not revealed who is in the wife yet. I'm guess
it's a guy since when her husband went looking for her in episode
2, when he was at the office and he reference his wifes name the
office person said "Mr. so&so" will see you in a bit. or was
busy.
I think the flash of the lost of a woman losing her baby was infact
a memory from Amy when she miscarried. I'm intrigued to see if
these "new" host of the body is able to absorb the memories of the
original person and if it takes time for them to assimilate with
their new body. it's also interesting to see how the real Amy is
trying to break up with her husband because she is "separating from
herself". not sure why she doesn't just say whats going on because
you get the impression that she knows what's happening but she's
willing to let it happen to her or that she's just accepted that
it's happening. But she seems to have some knowledge of what's
going on which makes me wonder if when the "new" host takes over if
the old person is still able to see whats going on in their body.
It's very confusing at this point but kind of fun to speculate.

I really don't see it. Either in her demeanor or in the way she
moves. The way she was dancing to the jazz music in the previous
episode doesn't look "man-like" in any way. I would also find it
strange that both possessed female characters in the show used to
be guys.

What you just said was exactly another reason why I was under the
impression that she was probably going to be possessed by a woman.
The way she strokes her arms when she first gets possessed is
definitely not masculine either. There's even another scene, which
looks like it will be in the next episode, where she's stroking a
picture of a man in a very feminine type of manner. I still don't
really know though. Hopefully they're going to start clarifying
things in the upcoming episodes.

Not much detail I can provide as I only read the last part. But I

There are three problems with bodyswaps. One, you often can't tell
what the heck is going on. Two, nobody cares about the girl in the
guy's body. Three, it's been done to death, despite those
deficiencies. I lament the lack of simple MtF transformations.

It's always such a disappoint when I hear about shows with
possession and then they never actually show the apparition going
in. I was hoping for something along the line of Being Human when I
heard about this

I always thought when Beth and Holly were messing with aiden they
would possess one of other housemates/kat. Sadly that never got
done.
Possession was underused in that series.

I guess it makes sense if it was a woman possessing the wife since
in the first episode when they start to have sex in the kitchen and
she gets taken over the posseser didnt skip a beat and continued. I
feel like a guy would have handled that a bit differently but who
knows. If it is a woman, i wonder what her plan is to bring back
the guy from the picture since says "soon" in thr clip

With the first season now complete, I may have to get and read the
book it's based on.
I'm really curious to find out how the shepherds find the old soul
in the new host body... and how the old souls find a new host body
to inhabit. Has anyone read the book, does it answer these
questions? Please use the spoilers tags.

I've seen the series, here is what is happening: also spoiler
warning ahead
The wife Amy is possessed by another woman named Rose who fell in
love with an alcoholic jazz musician in the past. By the way I
think Rose was actually foreign as at one point Amy speaks in
another language. There is also a MtF in the series, a serial
killer is put inside a little girl who takes his revenge on the bad
guys. I hope this helps.
