Let's hope so. On the one hand Resident Evil and Paradox Alice had
the same Alice in Wonderland motifs(both had protagonists named
Alice and A.I.s named Red) and I completely missed the significance
in both movies.
The humorous pages of the script I read were genuinely funny and
the scene near the end was genuinely sweet and sentimental. I hope
there is that balance.
Right now I can't wait to see him interviewed. I really want to
know what was his inspiration for the story. Is he a kindred spirit
or is the concept just a joke? Was it always his idea and John
Gallagher helped him co-write it or did Gallagher pitch the plot
first? What led to Gallagher turning over directing to Nicholas? I
hope it was always Brooks film and Gallagher talked him into
directing it. If he's passionate about the project it'll show.

Here's a funny video from the set. You can see blurry images of
Natalie Knepp and Lucille Sharp in the first 3 seconds.

I'm also curious about Natalie Knepp's feelings about SAM. Not just
the standard glad-talk about a new movie you see on promotional
interviews. But what she really thought about the role. Did she
take the part just for the money, or did the plot really interest
her? If so, why? I have to believe that the more Natalie Knepp
warmed to the plot, the more she would put into her performance.
Maybe her contract doesn't permit her to say very much publicly
though.

She's an actress, I'm sure she will have been very professional
about the role regardless of her feelings about the script.

Saw a tweet by Sibyl Santiago that tomorrow is the last day that
they shoot. How she worded the tweet make it sound like Natalie has
done all of her shooting.
BTW, I am curious with the film being (in all likelihood) rated R
how far Samantha will go to explore her new sexuality if she does
so at all. I hope it's more than just a kiss.

I'm with Rush. I hope there's more than just a kiss. I'd love to
see them do a Lalola-like dream sequence or a scene where she
discovers the shower nozzle. It would be a tame and funny gag and
it wouldn't ignore the issue like in Switch.
I also hope 'd there's a gradual transition where Sam notices she
isn't attracted to women anymore.
Wouldn't it be great if the last day of shooting involved pickup
shots with Samantha's body double?

Thanks, the saint!
I *love* Sam & Samantha in that group shot... Knepp looks
especially adorable, and you can see their differences in height
and build when they're so close together like that. : )

Keep the updates coming Saint. Deeply appreciated. I want to see
more pics of Samantha all dolled up and hopefully in black
pantyhose.

Not sure if everyone knows about this already... There is a Mr.
MovieTicket website where you can comment about the upcoming movie
SAM. For everyone who has hopes/wishes about SAM, you might want to
consider adding comments there, as well as here at metamorphose.

So the director is going to have some sort of interview with
someone next week? Feb. 20th?

What would be the chances of possibly seeing a rough unedited clip
from the movie during that interview?

Good question post #259. Do you show a clip to begin promoting the
movie? Or do you hold back because you don't want to show and
unfinished and rough product? Maybe he will show a few photos or a
very brief clip.
