Copyken, do you know where else you can find good shapeshifting
comics/stories? I've seen you ask around before and I always wonder
where to look.

Sorry for the late response. I knew of some stories but they are
all pretty old. Comics though, not really sure where to find some.
Chronicstuss has put out my favorite ones on deviantART so far.

amazing art work, terribly plotted and written

It always surprises me how people can be so negative and critical
of something they're getting for free.

It always surprises me how people think because it is free, it
can't be criticize. Thinks can always be improved no matter it's
free or not. The fact that it's free doen't imply it's perfect.

"amazing art work, terribly plotted and written"
What I saw in that "review", was simplicity. The poster's opinion
that the artwork is "amazing", and that the plot and writing were
"terrible".
If it was meant to be feedback, or constructive, the poster SHOULD
have included examples, or at the very least, more detail on what
could have been improved vs. what seemed to be working good.
But even I, sometimes, fail to be articulate or intelligent enough
to be able to quantify beyond leaving some simple feedback such as
the above "gut feeling" opinion. Which saddens me, as I always...
well often, like to help others improve.
So, enough of the comments about negativity. Next time, simply ask
for more detail on what or why. Or better yet, create a new post
reviewing the content yourself. It would be most helpful for those
of us who haven't seen the material yet... and to the artists and
writers, I'm sure

In re. being "constructive"...
I think Chronicstuss' stories are becoming more ambitious...he is
wanting to do more than just simple swaps and bodystealing...and
that may be why the commenter found them "terribly plotted and
written".
I like "Simple Simon" as it is "Archer-esque" in a way -- a riff on
the Get Smart comic take on spying.
Sometimes the writing is -- like on "Archer" -- self-referential or
meta in its comic absurdity. For example, take the latest Final
Chapter Page 2, when Simon introduces his son: "Just think, last
year he was just a twelve year old boy. Now he's a grown man of
twenty-one. Amazing."
Yes, a meta-absurdity. These are "funny books" where nutty things
are accepted as reality. He's mocking his own medium.
I like Chronicstruss' move towards comedy. My only criticism would
be the number of characters in the strips...which makes it hard to
distinguish what is going on or who is shagging who sometimes.
Just my two cents. :-)
