Description
A girl named Maya is mortally wounded in the car accident that
killed her parents and is found by a Type-D lifeform. This creature
absorbs Maya just as her soul is leaving her body and morphs into a
giant duplicate of Maya's body. The result of this is that Maya is
now in the Type-D lifeform's body. Unfortunately, this means that
the energy she expends fighting other Type-D lifeforms is making
the spirits of Japan stronger and allowing the weaker ones to
assume visible form, a sacrifice the world deems necessary if
Type-D lifeforms are to be destroyed. The manga can be found at
