- Title "Ozma and the Little Wizard", In "Little Wizard Stories of
Oz", Magic, Fantasy
Description
In this short story, Ozma and the Wizard (the same Wizard of the
original story, though now he is being taught real magic) encounter
three obnoxious imps, Imp Ertinent, Imp Udent, and Imp Olite. The
imps cause much trouble, even after Ozma and the Wizard transform
them into other creatures. Finally, Ozma and the Wizard decide to
transform them into something inanimate, reasoning that they can't
cause any trouble if they can't move. The three imps are
transformed into coins, and Ozma decides they will remain in that
state until they've learned their lesson.
