I'm trying to hunt down a pretty old story I remembered reading quite a few years ago. Most of what I can remember is that a man (I believe he may have been part of the police or a detective) ends up changing into a woman, and then into a cybertronian not long after. I believe they ended up as Arcee after finishing the transformation.
Unfortunately, I can't remember much else about it. It's been quite a while since I've read it, and it's likely not even available anymore.
